The body finish on this guitar is black. It was painted by someone decades ago but is refinished. It has patina like an original 50s guitar. The finish on the neck we think could be original but not on the headstock, the logo has been replaced. The parts are original and the guitar comes with an original tweed case. The pots are all dated 304 723.... as usual. Many of these 1957 Stratocasters have that pot date. No neck date can be seen. The neck is a typical 1957 V neck that is the perfect size. I will check the weight. The front pickup is rewound by Lindy Fralin. There are no repairs or damage to the wood, it is intact.
