This is what the very first Slab board 1959 Stratocasters look like and this is one on them. It is all original and not in bad condition, it is nice. I have a friend (it is true) who thinks these look stupid. He knows a lot or maybe everything about stuff. I think this is the cool one to have and additionally it is a rare variant. This is the same as a 1959 or 1958 maple neck in regards to the color and, the rare for a slab board, single ply white pick guard. It looks like it was made in the 1950s. Right after these, Fender changed the sunburst color and also ended the single ply pick guards. We do not often see these. This time we do.
